Installation Tips (from Doctor Kit-Cat):

• Confirm your lever has a rectangular slot at the bottom (not a protrusion for triangular hole tails). Contact [email protected] if unsure.

• Remove the old tail by unhooking it from the lever. Place the clock face-down on a towel with batteries removed.

• Carefully hook the new tail onto the lever’s rectangular slot, ensuring the hook is fully engaged.

• Gently pull the tail downward to set proper tension, then hang the clock vertically (top slightly tilted 3/4 inch from the wall) to test animation.

• Test with fresh batteries (2 C for Kit-Cat, positive tips up; 1 AA for Kitty-Cat, positive tip down). If the tail quivers or stops, try adding a small weight (e.g., a clipped clothespin) to the tail’s middle or adjust battery contacts for a tighter fit.
